  • Course details:This cutting-edge industry-led course provides you with the opportunity to acquire the fundamental skills and techniques of film production required for a sustainable career in the film and related creative industries. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with creative practitioners from other arts disciplines through Screen and Film School’s partnerships with the BIMM Institute and the Institute for Contemporary Theatre.

These 3 courses both offer similar experiences; learning while working hands on with industry professionals about the art of filmmaking.
Being on any of these courses will massively help my chances of getting a job in the media industry as i will be able to further the knowledge i have already gained in college and fine tune it to make a portfolio more suited to what i am interested in.


Choice 4-MANCHESTER METROPOLITAN Multimedia Journalism

  • Requires:104-112 UCAS TARRIF points
  • Course details: This degree is geared towards inquiring minds and creative thinkers seeking a career in journalism and the creative media industries. Throughout the programme, we’ll encourage you to carve out your own creative identity as you express yourself through a variety of media and genres – including print, broadcast and digital publishing.
This course is sort of a back-up, Journalism is something that interests me as the reason i want to be in the media industry is to share peoples personal experiences and cultures so that as a society we become more aware of the different unique experiences. Journalism would be good for this however, i would rather be able to share infomation in the form of a documentary/video.
