Media Industry-My showreel

  Media Industry-My Showreel For my showreel, I wanted to keep it particularly short by including only 3 of my major projects, I started with the one that was the newest, my LGBT documentary. I added clips that stood out and encapture what the whole project was about while also showing the personality of my interviewees. I then added the second documentary I've done about how self-identity is influenced by social media, I used a short clip of me discussing a point before I jumped back into interviews and finally, I added my tutorial video as it was the only one that I had an actual client for. I wanted the music to be quite calming, as I felt it fit better with the serious issues I talk about in my documentaries and wouldn't take away from the voices I was trying to amplify. Show your latest work -Clients and companies don't want to see work that you have done years ago as it will raise a lot of questions about your skills as a content creator.   Keep it short- A showreel should be between 1-3 minutes long as potential clients do not have a lot of time to watch what you have to offer.
